Bridge Close May 12
The 45 year old bridge linking downtown New Bern with US 70e closes next month, there are several alternate routes into the downtown area marked with new signs. This bridge is adjacent to the Riverfront Convention Center and is long overdue. The new bridge will have a slightly higher profile and is due to be finished early in 2009.
